Uganda Air Lines Launches Direct Flight To London Returning The Lost Glory
March/20th/2025 marked a remarkable mile stone in fraternity of the Transport Industry as they launched the New direct flight to London Gatwick.
The exciting inauguration of the airlines New flight to UK at the Sheraton Hotel Kampala depicted a diverse impact on Uganda’s Economic growth and international relationship at large.
The introduction of this service underscores the airline’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and fostering stronger ties between Uganda and the UK.

The new service will operate four times a week, using the state-of-the-art Airbus A330-800neo, which offers Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class seating.
The flight times have been optimized for seamless connections to North America and Europe, as well as key African destinations via Uganda Airlines’ expanding regional network.
The minister of Works and Transport GEN. Edward Katumba Wamala also highlighted that apparently the Airline handles a fleet of 7 Air crafts however, this new route taping straight in European community will boost an enhanced growth in the tourism sector Uganda being enriched with variety of attractions leveraging on flexibility in movement.
